New Year's Resolution

Challenge

At the beginning of 2011 we launched a New Year’s Challenge to help people gain control of their unfinished projects. The customers who participated emailed us a list of their unfinished projects and we kept track of their progress.

We've decided to offer the challenge again.

Dealine to begin is February 1st.

You can email your list to us,

pam@westportyarns.com

or drop it off at the store.

Please include your name, email, phone number, and list of projects.

Submit a list of anything on your hooks and needles at the time you accept the challenge. Fair game are projects that you started long ago and have not revisited as well as current works in progress.

Every time you finish a project, send us a photo or come in and we will take a photo. Your photo will go up on our wall of fame. At the end of each quarter, a $25 shop gift certificate will be awarded to the customer with the most finished projects. There will also be a grand prize $50 shop gift certificate for the customer with the most finished projects.

In case you have forgotten where you left off, need help, or you just want camaraderie, there will be different opportunities for you.

Tutoring Sessions with our Staff, available by appointment ($15 for 30 minutes).

Sit’n Knit on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings (no fee).

Stitch and Chat on Tuesdays 9-11 am ($15/1 hour or $25 for 2 hours)

Breakfast Club on the First Sunday of the month

10 am – 12 pm ($12 for 2 hours).

Now some of you may be a little embarrassed about the number of projects on your hooks and needles. To encourage you to come clean, there will be a *prize for the customer with the most works in progress when the challenge begins.
